Comfort Food to end my day

I had a tiring day today. Started off with rushing to the market to get fresh produce, to cook. That was followed by cooking lunch. And a nice lunch with my boy, Ivan. As soon as that was done, we had to leave for school and work.

At my workplace, the kids were as usually adorable. By God's grace my two new comers settled in pretty well, with minimum crying... yay. It was a good day overall. Before I knocked off, I had some minor details to settle. Tomorrow we were going to the Singapore Zoo for an excursion. So much of preparation had been done for this, and I am excited. Strangely, just as I was about to leave, it started to pour... crap.
I love getting wet, but don't fancy my belongings getting wet. Back in my high school days, my friends and I loved to play in the rain, but our stuff were all safely kept aside. The same rule applies for me today. So I reduced my belongings from my Harrods bag to a plastic bag. Never thought I would be carrying my Mark Jacobs wallet in a plastic bag. The simplicity of life right. The point was I got my stuff home dry.

Spend some quality time with my darling boys and then settled lots of important calls that I needed to settle.
Finally, it was "ME" time. What better way to do that, than with comfort food. I am fortunate that I live near good eateries that have great desserts. It's such a blessing to enjoy a nice serving of Creme Brulee...yummy...
