First one of them was looking at the mug, then the rest of us joined her... then one thing led to another, and we ended up buying the same mugs.
As if getting similar mugs wasn't bad enough, we ended up getting some for our class partners too. Ours are all in blue and our class teachers were all in red. Silly right... I recall doing silly things like this when I was back in high school. But it's all in the name of fun.
