Update of where I am now

It's been so long, that I blogged. I had been so busy with work, my writing and business. I actually had my hands completely full all over the place. Suddenly, I found myself blessed with seven orders for this month alone. My writing, has taken new heights, and I am so proud of it. So, I am glad now I have some time.

Yesterday, there was teacher's meeting at the Raffles Center. The place looks great. Am I must say that I am happy where I am now. The management takes good care of their staff. The person who heads all of us, is such a simple, kind soul. My immediate, supervisor, is great too. I truly, have nothing to complain about.

I recall just about a couple of months ago, I felt very bored and lonely. I prayed that I wanted to live a full life, and here I am. Never thought that all the outings with the sweets ladies are going to be exhausting. But it has been all good. This new bunch of lovelies, I go out with are greatly passionate about any gastronomical delights. And we all enjoy munching together.

So, at current, balancing family, my writing, my business and my job is all too much. But I am enjoying the act of it all. The hubs should be home soon, and we are planning a romantic getaway to Bintan. It is a long awaited trip alone, without the kids, it had been 12 years. Time to rekindle the passion. So now got to get into planning that too.

Oh, and yes not forgetting, the BBQ I will be having at my place, soon. I am a busy, busy gal.

Breakfast with my boys

I got up so late this morning. And decided to take the boys out for a Singaporean style breakfast. We headed to the Hawker Center near home, sat down in the mists of the hustle and bustle. Queued up for our greasy Carrot Cake  and Wanton Noodles and had a normal brunch.

Here is Ivan having his Wanton noodles.

A Blessed Sunday

Today, I brought the boys down to church. Walked all the way to Suntec and found out that Ivan's class was over at Marina Mandarin. I knew we would not have enough time, to get there and back. So I took a bold step, and got Ivan to join the service with us.

It was such a touching moment for me, especially also since the church was celebrating Mother's day too. I felt so blessed and my heart was filled to the brim. Occasionally, I had to look over my shoulder as I worshiped, but it was worth having Ivan with us.

I feel very blessed.

This was our first stop, outside the Betty Boop store.
