Jenny was getting married, another chance for my dear cousin to get things right. She had very much like my ow sister while we were growing up. We lost touch during our adolescence, as my parents had me on house arrest for those tender years. Nevertheless, she knows that she can count on me. She requested that I said a few words on her behalf at her wedding. I was honored to oblige.
It started to rain very heavily, at 3pm, and I was not impressed. I had to wear a saree, as the bride's request. It had been a very long time since I had actually adorned a saree. But this time, I cheated, as I bought a ready-made saree. After Annie's first wedding, I understood that you just can't tie a saree all by yourself. So, I got ready, by myself and wanted to take a picture before I left. But it was so crappy, because, there was no one to snap a good shot for me. So here is me again, snapping myself on my Iphone.
Make up and attire in place, I am ready to go.
And a very weird shot taken for me by my boy Immanuel
A pathetic attempt to capture my look in a saree. After all God only knows when I will wear a saree again.
The wedding reception was at the Grassroots, at Yio Chu Kang.
Met up with family and friends there. Snap.. snap..
Here's my cousin Michelle and me.
Here's my cousin Sharon and me.
Here's my grandma and me.
Here's little Jason's lil gal, Jessica and me. She's just so adorable.\
I had saved my my speech on my Iphone, and when it was time, I delivered it.
And an edited shot of me. Which I like because of the vintage effect.
